In arbitration proceedings, a third party (arbitration tribunal) makes a binding decision on the dispute between the parties. The decision of the arbitration tribunal is binding for all parties involved. It has the same effect as the judgment of a state court. Arbitration proceedings are carried out if the parties have stipulated this in an arbitration agreement.
Special procedural rules apply in arbitration proceedings. It is therefore essential to have experienced lawyers at your side.
